Here in Shinning Stars we really care
This program is to empower their rights to fair education within the school system and providing driving the right ancillary support needed in their education. This starts with educating society first and making sure they have access to basic health programs for their wellbeing. Through this program, we organize education conferences for parents, families, communities to share valuable information and resources with them. We also organize health screening and other health education programs in collaboration with official healthcare institutions and service providers.
2. Better Life Programs- FOOD & CLOTHING – FUNDRAISING
The truth is that society is far behind the 8 balls in understanding and creating an inclusive culture for people with disabilities. Through this program, we tend to focus first on the neglected by society because of their challenges and disabilities, by allowing them to benefit from society and letting them know that Society cares.
Through this program, we organize food drives (non-perishable), clothing drives, and fundraising events for those in real need. Through this program, we work in close collaboration with institutions that share common goals and vision with our organization all over the world, but mostly in West Africa. We currently support YUMBA Special School, in Ghana? West Africa.
This program allows us to showcase the creative works and products of people with special needs through fundraising avenues and channels. It’s amazing how talents and innovations within the shinning stars get overlooked. 100% of proceeds go to benefit our stars and contribute to their economic empowerment.
