Our Mission

To improve the livelihoods of persons with special needs or disabilities through advocating for their inclusion, participation and active involvement in all spiritual, social, economic and structural life of the society.

With the beginning of the year, 2022 came the birth of an idea; an idea birthed from the pangs of passion to reach out to persons with special needs who seem to be constantly in need, devoid of love, and in the crippling grips of poverty.
If all students with special needs were given the chance to gain advanced education, they may most likely gain a skill, get a diploma, or a degree that will make them employable and allow them to earn a living; their livelihood as such with most definitely be improved.
With this in mind, we fleshed out the idea of building a VOCATIONAL & TECHNICAL TRAINING INSTITUTE in Tamale, in the Northern Region of Ghana to train persons with special needs in different vocations, an opportunity for them to further their education and to have a chance of working and making a living for themselves and their families.
The first visit to commission this enormous project was in August, in the presence of the chief of Kpegunayili in Tamale, the director of Shinning Stars Inc. Dr. Cynthia Paintsil, and other representatives of the GES in Tamale. Today, the foundation of an institution for persons with special needs by Shinning Stars Inc. is being established, and believe this is tremendous growth, educationally, socially, economically, financially and at all other levels.
Your support has been and will always be needed to facilitate our projects. To support the construction of the Vocational and Technical Training Institute in Tamale, Ghana today, click the link: https://tithe.ly/give?c=5924648
REACHING OUT IN LOVE
Since we came to Ghana in 2019, we have taken a keen interest in the lives of children in the North of Ghana with special needs, providing them with the necessary amenities needed for a decent basic education like classroom blocks, washrooms, and water storage as well as other basic needs like food items, stationery, clothing, and wheelchairs. With bigger design and build plans ahead of us in the coming months, your donation will be an investment toward improving the livelihoods of many persons with special needs. Donate today.
